PBC Accounting and Tax Services were founded by Peter Cagle after deciding that self-employment was the best way to take full control of his life. He has enjoyed working with numbers for as long as he can remember, and tax preparation seemed fascinating. It is a task that clients need yearly, so starting this business seemed like the perfect fit.
He got his Enrolled Agent Licence, and his mother-in-law, his mentor, showed him the ropes that allowed him to make PBC Accounting and Tax Services Corp grow. We are proud to have more clients every day and committed ourselves to a larger variety of taxes.
An enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service by passing a three-part comprehensive IRS test covering individual and business tax returns. Enrolled agents, like attorneys and certified public accountants (CPAs), have unlimited practice rights. This means they are unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent, what types of tax matters they can handle, and which IRS offices they can represent clients before.
